Puka Wasi SF was founded by Latino immigrants who have lived in the vibrant Bay Area of San Francisco for over twenty years. With deep roots in the community and a profound belief in the transformative power of art, education, and cultural initiatives, we came together to work alongside underrepresented communities. Recognizing diverse groups' shared struggles and unique contributions, we prioritize building meaningful connections and fostering solidarity. 

We are not saviors; we are individuals who believe in working “for” and “with” the people, grounded in the principles of solidarity and human rights. These principles guide every aspect of our work as we seek to transform challenges into opportunities and celebrate the rich tapestry of cultures that define California and Latin America.
